FAR FRESNEL
May 9 — 24, 2025
UltraSuperNew is excited to present "FAR FRESNEL," an exhibition by BROUILLARD Collective, running from Saturday, May 10 to Saturday, May 24, with an opening party on Friday, May 9, from 6 PM to 9 PM at UltraSuperNew KURA.
Brouillard Collective is an artist collective born from the French game studio Brouillard. Under the vision of the studio’s founder, Tristan Allaire (also known as Zend Seeker), the collective expands beyond the boundaries of games, exploring a wide spectrum of creative expression—including art, music, sculpture, and graphic design—to bring “tangible dreams” to life.
FAR FRESNEL is a creative endeavor by five artists united by a shared passion for worldbuilding and digital expression. Blending diverse disciplines, they craft immersive, multi-media narratives that converge into a singular game experience.
The project brings together studio founder and lead on game development, storytelling, and direction Tristan Allaire, atmospheric music composer Alt236, imaginative creature and landscape designer Martin Berteloodt, striking jewelry designer Carma Blandineau, and concept artist and visual language specialist Alexandre Massonneau.
FAR FRESNEL operates at the crossroads of storytelling, interactivity, and artistic exploration. This exhibition, FAR FRESNEL, invites visitors into a new visual and sensory experience through a series of interactive works based on a story that unfolds inside an elevator descending into the depths of a distant planet.
By opening up the game’s production process, the exhibition also allows visitors to engage with unique artworks that merge digital techniques with handcrafted detail. Exhibition and interaction unfold side by side.
A playable section of the interactive installation game will be projected onto a large screen, giving visitors the opportunity to experience the game firsthand using a gamepad.
Interactive Installations
A playable segment of Far Fresnel will be projected on a large wall and navigable via gamepad, offering visitors a hands-on experience of the game’s world.
Visual Concepts
Detailed 3D models, concept art, posters, and development artifacts will showcase the game's creative evolution.
Soundscapes
The original soundtrack will be featured throughout the space, immersing visitors in the game’s atmospheric audio.
Physical Artworks
Sculptures, jewelry, and other handcrafted pieces bring elements of the game into the physical realm, extending the narrative beyond the screen.
