KANO Mitsuo　Previously Unexhibited Works on Oil

Galerie Tokyo Humanité is pleased to announce that we have relocated to a new location. To commemorate our relocation, KANO Mitsuo’s solo exhibition will be held in two parts. The first half of the exhibition will showcase approximately 15 previously unexhibited works on oil from the 1980s and 1990s. The rich expressions that emerge from Kano’s works, often described as a flood of color, never fade and still capture the hearts of viewers today. The second half will focus on early monochrome works, showcasing approximately 20 etchings and intaglio. The imagery reminiscent of lifeforms in the 1950s evolves into the abstract imagery of the 1960s works.
