UltraSuperNew is pleased to announce an exhibition by Béchir Boussandel & Yudai Takeuchi on April 18th (Fri) up to May 03 (Sat) exploring the essence of the Japanese word 幽玄 [Yūgen]. The French-Tunisian and Japanese artworks showcasing a powerful call to reconnect with the essence of our existence. Under the patronage of Tunisia's embassy in Japan.

In association with RHK STUDIO, - In our increasingly technology-driven society, where the rapid pace of progress often overshadows the gentle whispers of nature, a compelling voice emerges, demanding to be heard. One such concept is “Yugen” (幽 玄). Yugen is more than an aesthetic response; it is a reminder of our evolutionary ties to the natural world, a call to honor our intrinsic relationship with nature. This ground-breaking exhibition unveils Boussandel’s works for the first time in Japan, a visual symphony that draws attention to the hidden splendor of Tunisian desert. His art serves as both a testament to nature’s resilience and a heartfelt plea for us to pay closer attention to its delicate existence. Whereas Japanese artist Yudai Takeuchi explores humanity's enigmatic connection to the broader of daylife, the sad beauty of human suffering, delving into themes that are often beyond his reach of language.

This exhibition weaves a narrative that immerses us in the ethereal beauty of the world. Both artists evoke feelings of awe, wonder, and a sense of the vastness and mystery of existence, inviting us to re-establish our connection with a realm we have grown distant from.
