YOD TOKYO is pleased to present a solo exhibition by Haruka Makita, entitled “I’m here”.

Artist Statement:
One cannot walk forward carrying all memories.
I feel we live each day dropping something behind.
Still, even things forgotten, things no longer here—their existence remains unshaken. I feel like the time that flowed by drifts beside us.
The works in this exhibition were created with the theme “Time that drifts beside us, even when forgotten.
