The skin is the most primitive institution we inhabit.

It exists as a material membrane, yet it simultaneously inscribes into our bodies the intangible architectures of ethics, memory, and common sense.

Through skin, we touch the world; through skin, we are kept at a distance from it.

This contradiction itself becomes the point where perception begins.

Gravity operates as an extension of the skin—not merely a physical pull, but a social structure that gathers thought and action back into order.

Within this structure, we learn how to balance, how to play, and how to drift away from the rules.

Such drifting is the smallest resistance against the institution, and the very moment in which perception is generated.

“BEYOND SKIN” is an experiment in rewiring the skin-as-institution, a process of extension—a quiet molting.

It is also an invisible procedure in which another body begins to grow, as if forming on the outside of one’s own.
