Visualizing “the Nature of the World as It Emerges Through Relationships” Through Non-Reproducible Photographic Works
Born in 1981 and based in Gifu, Japan. Began working in the darkroom in 2022. A light-based artist (photographer) who creates works through light and chemical reactions. Using the photogram process as a central method, the artist works with sunlight, plants, minerals, and other natural materials. Though photographic in nature, each work exists as a unique, non-reproducible piece, visualizing in a distinctive way “the nature of existence as something that continuously changes through relationships.”
