BEY Solo Exhibition "NEW WAMERICAN TOUR"

YOD TOKYO is pleased to announce the solo exhibition “NEW WAMERICAN TOUR” by artist BEY.
On April 25 (Fri.), the first day of the exhibition, BEY will be present at the gallery for a reception party. This is a rare opportunity to talk directly with the artist. Also, BEY will be releasing limited edition T-shirts featuring his artwork, which are not to be missed. Everyone is welcome to come.

ーArtist Statementー
For the past seven years, I have been working on the theme of “WAMERICAN,” which is a modern mashup of Japanese culture, including Hanafuda and Ukiyoe, and pop culture.
I would like to approach this new expression of “WAMERICAN”, which has been evolving over the years, as my first exhibition of all original artworks, as well as an exhibition that focuses on the creation of the canvas. We hope that many people will visit the exhibition.
